Akira which signifies 'restful strength' itself speaks for the genre of the movie.Akira is a strong message giving movie, one of the most awaited films of the year 2016.Akira is directed by AR Murugadoss and is a remake of Tamil hit Mouna Guru.Akira is written by Karan Singh Rathore while Vishal and Shekhar gave the melodious music.The movie is completed under the banner of Fox Star Studio.Sonakshi Senha, Mithun Chakraborty, Konkana Sen Sharma are in lead roles. Anurag Kashyap, Teena Singh, Amit Sadh Rai Laxmi, Urmila Mahanta, Atul Kulkarni, Lokesh Vijay Gupta and Shatrudhan Senha are also seen in crucial roles.Anurag kashyap will be in a negative role. Konkana sen played a police constable in the film.

And the movie is captioned with a line ' No one will be forgiven'.
The trailer of the movie is yet not released. Few teasers are unveiled which reveals that the movie is about a college going happy girl who is forced to show her brutal side and fight for herself.
